Projectors

Grupo Covix provides and installs projectors ranging from the smallest ones for a boardroom, to the brightest ones on the market made to project onto surfaces as large as a building. To achieve this, it is neccessary to choose the right projector in combination with the proper lens. In a boardroom, it is always best to perform a clean installation, hiding the projector on a ceiling, thanks to electromechanical support if required. In an outdoor projection other factors should be taken care of, such as incorporating hardware and software that allow us to do video mapping on buildings and therefore, projecting on the desired surface relief. Let us advise you on the best option for your projection needs.

LCD

These are the best choice for business presentations or use in medium to large meeting rooms due to the brightness (high level of lighting) they produce. In addition, they are very practical due to their compact size, light weight and low energy consumption.

The difference between a DLP projector and an LCD projector is in the way the image is projected using a lamp light source.
LCD projectors display images using red, blue and green rays that pass through individual LCD panels. These rays are combined using a dichroic prism to project the image through a lens.
Currently, 3LCD reflective laser projectors are used which do not have a color wheel, thus providing blacker blacks, whiter whites and brighter, more vibrant colors.
Important factors to consider before purchasing an LCD projector should be: Resolution, Proportion, Contrast, Brightness and Sharpness. The most common resolutions for LCD projectors are: 1280 x 720, 1280 x 768 and 1920 x 1080 and 4K (UHD).

DLP

DLP projectors (Digital Light Processing),

All DLP projectors have a DMD (Digital Micromirror Device) chip inside them covered with thousands of microscopic mirrors that allows light to come out in the right colors through a lens to project the image.

By itself, the image that forms the DLP chip is seen in black and white. Two methods are usually used to produce color images: single-chip or three-chip. The latter uses one DMD for each primary color (red, green, blue) that converges optically to produce a single image.

Single-chip DLP projectors alternate red, green and blue many times per second, creating a disorienting optical illusion called the "rainbow effect" that is particularly pronounced in images that have sharp edges between illuminated and dark areas, such as presentation slides.

Laser Projectors

Two important aspects to evaluate when purchasing a laser projector are that they do not use lamps and the speed at which they are turned on and off is much faster. These benefits make this technology one of the best in terms of savings in the purchase of lamp parts, no technical support and little or no repairs.

Its main features are: longer service life without maintenance, longer service life of up to 10 years, constant maximum brightness level throughout its service life, low power consumption.

Interactive Projectors

These projectors convert any smooth, light-colored surface into a touch screen for drawing, writing, sending documents or printing them.

With these projectors you can use your fingers to interact directly with the screen or use interactive pencils simultaneously. These projectors have the ability to interact wirelessly with iOS and Android mobile devices.
