President Enrique Peña Nieto commemorated Mexican Navy Day by inaugurating the new First Naval Region and the Center for Armament Modernization and Development (CEMODARM).
The facilities have a Visualization and Collaboration System, Videowall, Automation System, audio, ballistic maneuvering area, shooting stand and warehouse, specialized weapons equipment and a fleet of forklift vehicles that will be operated by more than 50 people.
