Video Cube Screens
A video cube is nothing more than a rear projection system, consisting of a chassis, a projector, a mirror and a screen. They are generally found in standard sizes, such as 50", 67" and 70" diagonally. When a larger size is required, it is recommended to change to a custom-made rear projection screen system. The latest generation of video cubes offer lighting systems with LEDs instead of lamps.
This represents a substantial saving since the maintenance cost of the video walls will not require the replacement of lamps. Thus, while the lighting system consists of an LED projector, the image is formed thanks to DLP technology. This is the only technology that, unlike LCD or PDP technology, will prevent the marking or burning of a static image on the screens.
It is important to consider that even when there are video cubes that allow front as well as rear access for servicing, it is always advisable to leave a space behind them, or make a small back room that makes adjustments easier. Covering, masking or leaving a finish around the video cubes is a good practice that makes the video wall look as a whole without its depth being noticeable. Allow our company to suggest these finishes with an interior design that enhances the aesthetics of your Control Center.
