Physical Security

Physical Security solutions are achieved by implementing security controls and mechanisms in and around offices, data centers or Control Rooms. For this, it is necessary to apply physical barriers and control procedures as preventative measures and counter-measures against any threat to the resources.

Indoor and outdoor cameras, PTZ´s or fixed, analog or digital and DVRs with different capacities, are integral to our CCTV solutions. The Access Control is another core component for Physical Security solutions. The biometric readers, among other technologies, allow access safeguarding in private spaces.

The Command, Control, Communications and Computer Systems, also called C4´s, are a type of Security Control Room very common in Mexico, which can operate on three levels: local, state and federal levels. These systems remain in operation 24/7, under strict rules and procedures that lead them to minimize their emergency response times. To achieve this we provide high specification equipment, such as audiovisual and Physical Security, supported by a specialized technical area always ready to provide the required maintenance.

Grupo Covix has incorporated Physical Security solutions in its portfolio and has been able to successfully implement them in recent years.

CCTV Security

What is CCTV?

It is a video surveillance technology designed to observe different environments and activities.

A CCTV System is remotely controlled from a Control Room , Monitoring Center , C5, C4, C2 , etc. that allows remote viewing of the cameras that transmit the signal to a Videowall or Screens that reproduce the signals sent at any time.

Covix Group designs, equips, installs and commissions CCTV systems in different spaces and has a wide range of closed circuit cameras such as: cameras with night vision, cameras with motion detection, thermal, wireless, HD, thermographic, dome and bullet cameras, long-range thermal and multispectral systems, accessories, monitors, LPR (License Plate Recognition), etc.

Access Control Security

What is an Access Control System for?

A System of Access Control It allows you to identify, authenticate, authorize or restrict the entry of people to a specific area by validating the information through different types of reading.

The main objective of Access Control is to control, implement, record and review events that occur in a given space to ensure the security of the property(ies) or the individuals that are there.

Covix Group offers different comprehensive solutions for access control such as: Vehicle access control, biometric access control, pedestrian access control, door access control . Integrating in all facilities: Biometrics, Proximity Cards, Facial Recognition, Vehicle Barriers, Full-body Turnstiles, Half-body Turnstiles, Fencing, Booms, etc.

Perimeter Security

What is Perimeter Security?

This is the name given to the set of Detection Systems designed to protect external and internal perimeters ; these systems together detect all the steps of a stranger, helping to prevent any intrusion into our building, office, home, etc. in advance, thus giving a vital margin of time to act in the event of an emergency by activating any alarm when the intruder is around the property and not when he is already inside.

A Perimeter Security System allows you to act in time against any threat regardless of the weather or topographic conditions of the environment and works in conjunction with a CCTV System , a Videowall and a Collaboration System that allows you to view in real time everything that is happening within the perimeter of your property.

Covix Group offers different solutions in Perimeter Security such as: outdoor motion detectors , long and short range outdoor infrared barriers, automatic barriers , welded mesh systems , glass break detectors, CCTV , etc. All custom designed.

Where can a Perimeter Security System be used?

It can be used in public or private properties with gardens or patios, airports, prisons, transport companies, warehouses, industrial parks, military, police, maritime facilities, in general any company that wants to know minute by minute what happens in its facilities.

Fire Detection

What is a Fire Detection System?

Fire Detection Systems They are classified as passive protection systems and are essential for preventing fires, preventing their spread, providing early warning and reducing the devastating consequences of a fire. They allow us to know and provide real-time warnings about incidents that could cause a fire or explosion. Their main characteristic is the early and timely warning of any gas, smoke, change in temperature or radiation out of the ordinary.

The main components of a Fire Detection System are: Detection center, detector, button, system and in some cases, extinguishing system .

Types of detectors : Aspiration smoke detection systems, linear smoke detection systems, thermal cable temperature detection systems, smoke detectors, ionic combustion gas detectors, fixed temperature or thermovelocimetric detectors, ultraviolet and infrared radiation detectors, explosive gas detection centres, flame, gas and extinguishing detection centres, etc.
