Front Projection Screens

Nowadays we can find dozens of different projection screens, each made with different materials and colors, resulting in different features, which if you known how to take advantage of, can offer a better result in the image’s clarity. The ideal projection screen is the one that is best suited to the characteristics of the projection room. We must take into account factors such as the instrument that will project the image, the distance between the projector and the screen, the projector features and brightness/luminosity of the place.

A projection screen can have white, pearl or semi-silver color, among others, and the result presented by each one of these is very different. For example, if the surface is white, black and dark colors will be very intense, but light colors will look pale. If we use a semi-silver or glass screen, there could be a risk of distorting the colors and having a somewhat poor presentation. Therefore, we emphasize that generaly the ideal projector screens are those having a matte finish, as these correctly regulate the intensity and definition of the image in proportion to color.

Among the most common types of projection screens are: manual, electric, tripods, rear projection screens, portable, folding, special boards, interactive and built into the ceiling.
