C4´s – Command, Control, Communications and Computing Centers

Designed to coordinate and supervise security plans and programs through computer technology and communications infrastructure, its main objective is to improve the reaction between security elements and emergency operators in crisis situations with an efficient response time by obtaining timely information. Each C4 has at least one Monitoring Center consisting of a video wall of screens or video cubes , a video conference system, CCTV, radio communication, collaboration and visualization software, etc., all designed to be in operation 24/7.

In addition to this, they have a Physical Security Solution that includes camera equipment for video surveillance, Access Control, biometric readers, etc.

A clear example of C4 is the C4i4 (Command, Control, Communications, Computing, Intelligence, Integration, Information and Research Center) in Mexico City, which is one of the largest in Latin America. This C4 is focused on safeguarding the integrity, security and assets of citizens in conjunction with the “Safe City” program of the Federal District.
