¿Qué es una Sala de Crisis y cuál es su función durante una emergencia?

What is a Crisis Room and what is its function during an emergency?

Do you know what a Crisis Room or War Room is?

Crisis Rooms, also known as War Rooms , are rooms designed for a group of people to participate in the visualization and monitoring of events that may affect a country, state, or corporation, analyzing information and collaborating to make the relevant decisions.

What is the function of a Crisis Room during an emergency?

The main objective of these Crisis Rooms (War Room) is to enable users to centralize information on an emergency, request resources, plan, adjust responses or tasks to be carried out in order to make timely, efficient and effective decisions.

They can be used to monitor, declare alerts, activate a crisis plan, make important decisions to act in the event of an event , and are a necessary instrument for coordination and effective response to a threat or emergency response.

Due to the type of information handled in a Crisis Room (War Room) , it is very important that these spaces have a Collaboration System that allows interaction between different spaces, sites, facilities or even Cities.

It is very common to have a Crisis Room next to a Monitoring Center , since in the event of an emergency that requires special attention, the information must be immediately shared with higher commands so that the relevant actions and decisions can be taken.
